Though I think it would have helped the drawing if girl and the background...matched, if that's the right word. The background is more 3D, and while it does help the girl pop out, it still seems like it would have made the drawing better to have it be more cartoony and 2D.
Now the girl: The jacket is very well drawn and she has a very nice, natural pose. Her expression also goes with the drawing's peaceful mood. One of the issues that I can see is that the hand closest to her chin is a bit too thick.
Also, a good tip for having your drawings look less flat and much more interesting is: make sure that when you're shading, use a different color than the base color. The jacket would have more colors in it than just a few variations of the same blue, etc.
i like how you did the hair, you can really get a sense of the breeze going though her hair. also the shadows in the hair are very well placed.
Your anatomy is pretty good, but where the back meets the hip seem to slim. i kinda see what your going for, but that doesnt match the overall anatomy well. other than that, everything else is dead on and i especially love the hands.
ok, last the character and the background are done well, but maybe you should blur the edges of the figure so the character appears to be apart of it.
